"Today marked an important step forward as we soft-launched the WEFE Nexus Hub at the Ministry of Water and Irrigation in Jordan. This hybrid event was attended by high-level officials from Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), alongside members of INWRDAM’s Community of Practice (WEFE CoP) and representatives from various sectors, including water, energy, food, and environmental management. The soft launch emphasized the strategic significance of the WEFE Nexus Hub as a pioneering platform aimed at fostering collaboration and promoting integrated approaches to water, energy, food, and ecosystems (WEFE). Participants were introduced to the Hub's innovative design, its tools, and resources, as well as the various channels available for registering and contributing content such as publications, success stories, and news updates. The WEFE Nexus Hub aims to act as a knowledge-sharing platform for professionals and experts in the MENA region, encouraging the exchange of best practices, success stories, and the latest innovations in nexus approaches. We look forward to the official launch of the WEFE Nexus Hub in the near future, which will further solidify its role as a regional center for knowledge and collaboration.
